Backlights are not referenced by the brand or model of the unit they go into. This is because the very same model unit can use different LCD screens, and so different backlights inside. You can search for your backlight on our site 2 ways:
- By the brand and model of the LCD panel in your unit. To find this, disassemble your unit and remove the LCD screen. On the back of the LCD screen you will see several stickers; one will show the brand and next to that the model number.
- By the dimensions (diameter x length) of your CCFL. To find this disassemble your unit and remove the CCFL backlight. Extract the CCFL bulb from its metal or plastic casing. Remove the silicone end-caps on the ends of the lamp should your backlight have any. Take a length measurement from the end-of-the-glass to the end-of-the-glass. This will be your length. Take a measurement of the thickness of the CCFL glass tube with a precision instrument (such as a caliper or micrometer). This will be your diameter measurement.
I don’t see my model listed in your assemblies. Do you have an assembled backlight for my unit?
Backlights are not referenced by the brand or model of the unit they go into. This is because the very same model unit can use different LCD screens, and so different backlights inside. Be sure you are searching for your backlight by the brand and model of the LCD screen. If you do not see your LCD screen model listed on our site, this means that we do not stock a backlight assembly for your model screen. We will most likely stock the CCFL lamps (without wires or connectors), and you can search for these by size on our site.
We also offer custom made CCFL with wires and assemblies. Please contact us for more information.

How do I determine which CCFL I need for my TV?
We have CCFLs for TVs from 32” screens to 55”. We do not have a database where the appropriate size CCFL can be cross-referenced by the model of the TV, TV screen, or any other model or serial number. To determine the correct size CCFL for your TV, disassemble your TV and remove one of the CCFL backlights. Remove the silicone or metal end-caps on the ends of the lamp should your backlight have any. Take a length measurement from the end-of-the-glass to the end-of-the-glass. Take a measurement of the thickness of the CCFL glass tube with a precision instrument (such as a caliper or micrometer). We have our available TV CCFLs listed by these two dimensions (diameter X length), so once you’ve taken the two measurements, you will be able to match up what you have to our listed sizes.
I don’t see my exact model listed on your site, but you do have a similar one, will it work for my screen?
When part numbers are similar, it means the parts will be similar, but also that there will definitely be some difference, sometimes the difference is slight enough that the parts can be used interchangeably and sometimes not. Look at the photo of the assembly on our site and see if they at least appear to be the same as what you have, if so you may want to try them (but we are not able to verify definitely for you).
Do you have replacement LEDs for my TV?
Absolutely! We offer replacement LED lights for an array of different TV brands and sizes. Click here to find the TV LED replacement you need!
Do you have an LED upgrade for my screen?
We do not carry any LED upgrades for screens using CCFL backlighting at this time.
Do you have caps for my TV CCFLs?
The metal cap or clip on TV CCFLs is not a part we carry. You will need to remove the metal caps from your current CCFLs and put them on whatever replacement CCFLs you get (the caps are typically spot welded to your CCFLs at the center of the tip. You can usually melt that off with a good soldering iron. Our CCFLs come with a thin electrode at each end, as you can see in photos of the item, this electrode will fit into the hole at the end of the cap where it was welded to the previous CCFL, you would then solder the metal cap to the new CCFL and clip off the extra electrode).
